Is Simu Liu Going to Make His First 'Spider-Man' Movie Appearance? Here's That and More About His MCU Future
Simu Liu has had a busy last few years. From planting a well-earned flag at the MCU, being a Ken Doll, to dancing on a torn Achilles tendon along with Ryan Gosling to 'I'm Just Ken,' Liu has not got a chance to breathe. And recently, having wrapped up and released his latest endeavor alongside Woody Harrelson, Liu seems to be on a roll that no other actor seems to be enjoying as much. All the while bringing a goofy yet warm presence everywhere he goes, one that makes even Jimmy Fallon laugh heartily to.
While on a promotion schedule for his latest project, there seems to be one set of questions that audiences and show hosts alike, cannot get out of their minds, that Liu, on the other hand, seems to have no answers to.

On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Fallon, presented with the perfect moment to confront Simu Liu with questions running through every Marvel enthusiast's mind by asking the Last Breath starrer about recent developments with the Marvel Cinematic Universe's much-anticipated sequel; Shang-Chi 2: The Wreckage of Time. On being asked about the concerns about whether Destin Daniel Cretton's confirmed involvement with Spiderman 4, might be affecting the development of Shang-Chi 2, the actor remained tight-lipped throughout, playing by the rules of Marvel Studios.
Liu remained calm and collected self, not letting any bit of information slip away under his nose, saying "I am not even going to go near that". Outside of the show however, Liu did reveal to ScreenRant interviewer Liam Crowley that he does not "think anything has been impacted," when asked if he thinks Cretton's engagement with the Spiderman 4 would be affecting the release date of Shang-Chi 2.
While he is clearly a treat to be around, the Shang-Chi movie series might not be the only place one would be able to recall him from, and an avid appreciator must be made aware likewise.

If the Barbenheimer showdown of 2023 was anything to go by, the Oscars succeeding the two had been the exact same, a ground of battle, if one must. But it was not simply the aura of the masterpieces that added to the phenomena's charm, but also the tit-bits that were noticed here and there. While Simu Liu may be known to cinephiles from pieces such as Kim's Convenience, the much revered movie Atlas and as of recent: starring in the Last Breath, appearing as a Ken Doll in the sidelines to Ryan Gosling was probably Liu's highlight of 2023, seeing as how promptly the actor would participate in Fallon's Barbie games.

Waiting on the anticipated reception for his latest project in the Last Breath, in which he co-stars with Woody Harrelson, the audience seems to be more in intrigued by Liu's Marvel involvements and seem to be on the edge with what lies in store for Shang-Chi in the upcoming movies.
