Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stuck by each other’s side through more than just thick and thin. From palace prejudice to a family breakup that involved one of the most prominent families in the world, the couple redefined what it means to be a power couple. While there may be various testimonies of them being tied at the hip now, the different backgrounds that the two come from caused increased debate back then and even now, as the couple battles through divorce rumors, among other things.

Just months after they gave the world a peak into their undying love for each other through their Netflix docuseries, Markle and Prince Harry once again find themselves on a bifurcated road. But it may have nothing to do with failing friendships or falling million-dollar deals but their relationship with fame.

While royal weddings have always been a subject of discussion around the world, that of Prince Harry’s was not on the same note. This had less to do with Markle’s ethnicity and more to do with her profession. Unlike Markle, who spent her life working towards the spotlight, Prince Harry had it since birth and he may have also tried to avoid it.

As per PR Expert, Mayah Riaz’s statement to The Mirror, their different dynamics with fame may be “challenging” to tread through.

It is hard to imagine a couple that let go of their royal status to live a life closer to each other breaking up over something trivia. And while they may show contrasting reactions to fame, they have proven ample times that they know how to work through their differences.

It is also to be noted that if the Duke of Sussex was frustrated by the media attention and Markle’s love for it, he would not be out doing solo projects centered around himself. Moreover, it seems like the couple has found a way to stay in the spotlight while also avoiding its glare, as they take on the role of producers.
