Through a cacophony of misguided florals and fancies, Blake Lively swept into our summer with It Ends With Us. Audiences were split between trying to school it for its wrong while also giving it due credit for shedding light on the same and most importantly bringing to life the viral book that became a heart snuggler during the pandemic. However, less than two months after the release, the audience can rest, as the movie makes the journey from theaters to tenements.

For those who skipped it in theaters, either out of self-preservation or morbid curiosity, It Ends With Us is putting itself up for a second chance to be judged.

Despite the fact that those unversed with the It Ends With Us drama are far and few, the movie had a successful box office run and hence a delayed arrival to streaming. Nearly two weeks after its premiere, It Ends With Us is yet to properly be up for streaming. Instead, it is available to rent on digital video-on-demand sites such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, and YouTube. The movie is currently not streaming on Netflix.

Given that It Ends With Us is currently up for rent, and Netflix provides no such service, it will be a wait of a few more weeks before the movie lands on the OTT Mogul. However, the big red streamers can be rest assured that It Ends With Us will ultimately find its home on Netflix, owing to the OTT mogul's deal with Sony.

There is beauty in the way the audiences have come to wish failure on a movie, only to experience the fortune of witnessing it inside the comfortable bubble of their home sooner. Despite this toxic love, It Ends With Us, a movie that ironically revolves around the same, has managed to steer free of having a quick landing on streamers with a $344 Million box office collection worldwide. A fate similar to another hit Sony predecessor, Anyone But You that holds the crown of reviving rom-com, It Ends With Us will likely be released on Netflix in December.

How fast a movie makes it to the streaming finish line is simply a matter of box office numbers. This stood among the reasons why Christopher Nolan sternly demanded at least a 100 day theatrical window for Oppenheimer, as he believed it to be a spectacle worthy of witnessing on the big screen. Contrary to this tale of cinematic marvel, Madame Web, was driven out of theaters by the critics' and found a safe home on Netflix, all within two months. However, as the critics' sentiment is up against a devoted Colleen Hoover fanbase, It Ends With Us' release on Netflix is fashionably delayed.
