Based off of the comic series of the same name, the adult animated show Invincible has been all the rage since its first release in March of 2021. Written by Robert Kirkman, who also acts one of the producers of the show, the story centers around seventeen year old Mark Grayson, or Invincible, and the ploys that unfold around. And the audience has surprisingly not had one bad thing to say about it ever since.
Not having a bad thing to say, however, often becomes the root cause of the complains as well, with the shows intriguing and alternative take on superhero-ism, the audience rages about wanting the series to be turned into a standard for the rest of the industry, which might have successfully compelled the creators into trying something new.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the creators of the show have revealed to Discussing Film, their plans for pacing up the releases of the show, which will help it catch up to the comics. Planning on moving the releases up and every new year, Kirkman and Racioppa, as seen in the short clip, admit that they cannot “guarantee that we will be coming back in early February every single year, but that is the goal”.
The creators of the show seem to be struggling a bit with balancing out the releases while maintaining the quality of the storytelling along with the detailed plan that they have mapped out for the show. While the audience is quick to defend the show and speak in its favor, there have also been ample criticism in cue of the long hiatus-like gap between the first two seasons, which was also the reason the news of the show being worth 7-8 seasons long had ensued a flurry of questions for the producers and writer.
With the audience being relatively less thrilled for the third season than they had been for the previous two, the creators have tried to step up their game, announcing an up-pacing for the show releases while also trying to deliver the best they can on screen, which has left the fans thrilled as ever before, and even more on board with the show than they had been.
Love is Invincible
As the third season to the animated series premiered in February of 2025, which the audience had already been buzzing with impatience for, the show had tipped the spectators over the edge, following the confirmation of the shows most beloved couple, Mark Grayson and Samantha Eve Wilkins, being made official. This, following the creators addressing issues with delayed releases had been a gift for the audience, renewing their faith in the showrunners and this one-of-a-kind superhero story.

With redemptions already underway, both the creators and the audience of the show seem to harbor an ardent love for storytelling, with how it is received to how it is being conveyed, respectively. With the series being set for a possibly 8 season long run, the audience is strapped in for some serious boost to the shows upcoming popularity in near future years.
