The fall has kicked in, and with it comes the Pumpkin Spice Latte season. Larry Canam, a 71-year-old Canadian known for his vast range of cocktails and milkshakes, found this a perfect opportunity to make this cinnamon-spiked drink for Ryan Reynolds. While playing the popular NSYNC track, ‘Bye Bye Bye,’ which gained a resurgence in popularity after Deadpool & Wolverine, Canam concocted a delicious and frothy Pumpkin Spice Caramel Latte for his “fellow Canadian.”

With his trademark infectious smile, Canam shared the full recipe for the drink. However, he might have missed one detail. Canam, who goes by Spirit Alchemist on TikTok, claimed in his video that Ryan Reynolds “loves Pumpkin Spice". Well, maybe the milkshake maestro has not caught wind of the lengthy Pumpkin Spice Latte rant that The Amityville Horror star posted last year, around the same time.

Ryan Reynolds made it very clear that he is no fan of Pumpkin Spice Lattes and also criticized America’s obsession with the drink.

Last year, in celebration of Aviation Gin's first year as the official American Gin of Negroni Week, Ryan Reynolds shared a few choice words on Pumpkin Spice Season. Referring to the fall frenzy, the 47-year-old said, "The entire universe will once again be losing its mind for pumpkin spice". While showing fans how to make an Aviation Gin Negroni, he made his feelings about pumpkin-spiced drinks clear.

Reynolds asked his American fans why, once a year for two or three months, everyone goes bananas over this drink. The actor then hilariously added, with a tad bit of passive aggression, "Take a pumpkin-spice cinnamon stick and shove it right up your a**.” It is unclear whether Larry Canam was unaware of Reynolds’ aversion to this beverage or if he knew and decided to give Reynolds a taste of his own sarcasm.
