The Merc with a mouth is back in action again, or at least he will be soon. It has almost been four years since we last witnessed Ryan Reynolds as the wise-cracking superhero. Over the past few months, Marvel left no stone unturned to ignite the hype among the fans. While the project is still months away, a significant update about the third installment has hit the internet. 

Deadpool 3‘s release schedule has been no less than a roller coaster. The Ryan Reynolds starrer has gone through numerous delays owing to the ongoing strike. However, amidst all the uncertainty, multiple exciting scenes have been added as the film’s runtime was recently revealed.

Deadpool 3’s runtime 

Deadpool 3 has not had an easy time with its production. Numerous delays have hit the film’s shoot and halted the project’s release. In the midst of a difficult production, a new update about the film has hit the internet. Recently, Discussing Film took to Twitter, revealing a crucial detail. As surprising as it sounds, the movie’s third installment is set to have a 203-minute runtime.

The latest update is surely exciting but equally shocking as well. Unlike the film’s past two installments, which had an average of 1 hour 48 minutes and 1 hour 59 minutes runtime, the third installment is likely to go on for nearly 3.4 hours. It is one of the first times a superhero film will have such a long runtime. 

Following the latest delay, the third installment’s release date has been pushed further. The rumors about a delayed release started a while ago as Deadpool 3 was removed from Disney’s release schedule. Meanwhile, apart from bringing back Blind AI and Dopinder, the studio recently announced a bunch of exciting fan-favorite characters who will be on board.

However, much to the fans’s surprise, even Wade Wilson might be going through a major change in the movie.

Exciting rumor about Deadpool 3 hints towards a new variant of the titular character

The ongoing SAG-AFTRA and Writers’ strike yet again halted Deadpool’s production. Nevertheless, the delays have not stopped updates about the film from seeing the light. And a while long ago, scooper Daniel Richtman shared an update on Twitter hinting towards an exciting possibility in Deadpool 3. 

As per Richtman, the titular character will play different versions of him in the movie. However, the news is less surprising since Marvel announced that Deadpool will be a part of the multiverse. Apparently, the version of the character that we might see in the movie is Kidpool. However, there is no confirmation about the same.
