In the Cut Throat League, Ryan Reynolds Wanted His Wrexham Players to Have This Specific Deadpool Superpower
Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool is a mixture of all the other mutants. He has powers of other mutants as well. Therefore, it makes sense if Deadpool can even grow his legs or fight like a ninja. However, what if Reynolds’ Wrexham players could get some of Deadpool’s power? How incredible would it be to have superpowers! If the Canadian actor had to gift a specific power to his Wrexham players, what would it be?
The Canadian actor bought the world’s third-oldest professional football club in 2021 with Rob McElhenney. The Hollywood duo even documented their journey of acquiring Wrexham AFC in a documentary called Welcome to Wrexham. When the first season of the documentary came out, the Wrexham owners had an interview with Pete Graves. Graves asked the Vancouver-born actor if he could give one superpower of Deadpool to his Wrexham players; what would it be? The answer that Reynolds gave is hilariously sensible.

If he could give one superpower to his Wrexham players, Reynolds would give them Deadpool’s ability to heal himself. He even gave a reason for it. The ultimate goal of the duo is to take the club to the Premier League. However, until that happens, the players are working extremely hard to make their team and the country proud. Reynolds revealed the way they trained themselves was shocking to him.
As he understands and experiences, football is a brutal game. Anything can happen at any moment. The way those players play, their speed, and their sheer dedication made the Red Notice actor intense. Therefore, he would love to give his Wrexham players the healing factor from his iconic character. Until he could figure out a way to make it happen, it is only his and his partner’s words and behavior only that can heal the players.

As the owners of the club, it is their duty to support the club in any way they can. Therefore, as Paul Mullin once revealed, these celebrities treat the entire team, including non-players, with the utmost respect. They would be always approachable. As Mullin admitted, McElhenney and Reynolds understand the team would not always win. Therefore, even in their losses, they would be extremely cheerful.
The 46-year-old also admitted his love for the players and the entire club. Because of their dedication and big dreams, the duo has become a part of the Welsh community as well.
