Many people, however, might not be aware that despite having this Greek god-like personality and looks, Cavill feared to approach women. About five years back, he opened up about his worries and also revealed the reason behind it.

Henry Cavill does not want to get into controversies

In his 2018 interview with GQ Australia, Henry Cavill talked about his love life and relationships. During the conversation, he proclaimed he has always found dating and flirting with women scary. The actor found it difficult when certain rules came in the way of pursuing someone. “Because then it’s like: ‘Well, I don’t want to go up and talk to her, because I’m going to be called a rapist or something,’” explained the now 40-year-old.

Instead, he would love to go back into a relationship that never worked in the first place, added Cavill. The British star feared this flirting thing so much that he felt it like casting himself “into the fires of hell.” Another reason behind this habit was his popularity and that he constantly remained in the public eye. Well, it is understandable considering the former Superman is one of the most sought-after actors in the show business.

Despite facing a hard time approaching women, Cavill found his perfect match in Natalie Viscuso, with whom he spends most of his free time. In fact, she was the one who filled him with confidence as revealed by the actor in an interview.

The Enola Holmes star gushed over his girlfriend 

Last year, Henry Cavill sat down with Deadline to talk about his new projects and life. In the interview, he also gave a rare insight into his relationship with Natalie Viscuso. The Jersey native revealed the television executive has helped him gain confidence as an actor. Viscuso had made everything better in Cavill’s professional life by pointing out things that helped him do better.

So supporting and loving each other, this duo has completed more than two years together. They became Instagram official in April 2021 and made a public appearance at the October 2022 premiere of the Netflix film, Enola Holmes. As of now, the couple is working together to bring his passion project, the Warhammer 40,000 adaptation to the big screen.
