Deadpool & Wolverine is on the verge of hitting theaters in no time. Amidst the promotions, Ryan Reynolds took a moment to chat with Empire Magazine and share a story from behind the scenes of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In one of the scenes, the Merc with a Mouth found himself tongue-tied on set, unable to deliver his trademark wit on set. In this dark period, there was an "elevator scene" being filmed without a script, forcing Reynolds to think on his feet and improvise.
Immediately after wrapping up the scene, though, the Free Guy star turned to Hugh Jackman and said, "God, I wish I had another crack at that elevator scene". And Hugh Jackman, without a second thought, stopped the show and called for the crew to re-light the elevator set. He rounded up the cast to give Reynolds another shot at it. "I’ll never forget that," said the Canadian actor. This tight bond between the two is sure to work wonders for the film, especially considering the main theme of the upcoming Deadpool installment.
This theme of friendship even had Ryan Reynolds feeling overwhelmed, and he could not hold back his tears.
