Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their not-so-humble abode in London to carry on as non-working royals and establish a name for themselves, there has been a lot of talk surrounding whether they will ever manage to be successful. However, contrary to popular belief now, the Sussexes made themselves a name that would be reiterated in history when they stepped down as senior working royals.
While the awakening might have left them short of a home in the UK, owing to its significance, a picture of the Sussexes has found a better place across the pond than they ever will.

Since the debacle that ensued the Megxit, as it has come to be called, the Sussexes lost the Frogmore Cottage despite offering to pay for their expenses. Fortunately, years later, a portrait of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has been met with a far better reception as it finds a place at the National Portrait Gallery in London. To further up the ante, the patron of said gallery is none other than their arch-nemesis, Kate Middleton.
The National Portrait Gallery acquiring a portrait of the Sussexes that symbolizes their perseverance and success following the Megxit did raise a few eyebrows. However, one look at the work of art that Misan Harriman, who ousted the grand news, captured back in 2022, laid all doubts to rest owing to its sheer brilliance.
Their portrait finding itself among greatness in London could not have come at a better time as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are sending out the message that working royals or not, they remain royalty.
The Sussexes make a royal comeback with the Nigeria trip

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently made their way to Nigeria to promote the Invictus Games. However, the trip garnered more attention than precedented and ultimately had audiences tuning in all the way from the US to the UK. In fact, the nature of the trip supposedly left Prince William feeling absolutely furious.
At a time when Markle's American Riviera Orchard is supposedly on the brink of collapse, the positive light that the Misan Harriman portrait and the Nigeria trip are shining on the Sussexes is not short of a lifeline. However, it once again falls on the Californian royals how they churn out gold out of this positive attention.
