Despite getting fans to scream at their screens, and claw their hair out if given the option, it is unlikely that the devoted fanbase of Gossip Girl would change anything about the show. However, one of the most adorned cast members, Sebastian Stan, who has well surpassed his Gossip Girl fame as he now stands among the multi-millionaires of Marvel, stated in his Variety interview, "I wish I was part of the starting five."

Although not a part of the starting five, Stan caused quite the riot with his appearance on Gossip Girl. Following the show, it did not take the actor a lot to rise to build an empire of his own. In fact, he is one of the few actors who effortlessly enjoys both commercial and critical success.

Owing to its long-run or perhaps just the heart's desire, Gossip Girl did become a rearing ground for celebrity couples. While Penn Badgley and Blake Lively did steal the show with full consent from the creators, Sebastian Stan and Leighton Meester caused quite a thunderstorm. Despite having broken up years ago, weaving in his confession about wanting to become a part of the crux of Gossip Girl, the actor did not hesitate to mention how he was in love with Meester.

Although they dated only for two years, as Sebastian Stan goes on to remember how it was the very first time he was seriously in love in 2024 during his Variety interview, it seems he was pretty serious about every 'xoxo' that he wrote to Meester. But both seem to have let bygones be bygones as the two take on life separately with a stride.
