About three years back, Sweeney sat down with Numero Netherlands after her breakout role in Euphoria became famous. During this Q&A session, she was also asked about her guest roles before success. And if she ever felt the need to get more screen time than she got on these popular shows. In her response, the actress expressed her gratitude towards the roles she got to play.

The 25-year-old said that she could never think small of those roles that paid her bills when she was not famous. She believes that every person faces hardships when they follow their dreams. Since Sydney Sweeney did not have any connections in LA, she was on her own and even getting small roles was a blessing for her.

Indeed, the Spokane native wanted to play crucial characters and be one of the key cast members in a series, but when she could not do it, she “questioned myself a lot when I wasn’t and felt like I was letting my parents down”. The American actress always wanted to do something big that could make her parents proud, considering they had a big role in her dreams.

At this point, it is safe to say that Sydney Sweeney is a household name in the industry. Having more than 15 million followers on social media, she has created a place for herself. However, the journey she has completed to reach here might be overwhelming for many. The religious family who used to live in the peaceful neighborhood of Spokane moved to Los Angeles. 

Her family struggled with a ton of financial strain because of the high cost of living in the new city. In fact, they went bankrupt at one point and had nothing in their hand. However, her parents never stopped believing in their daughter, who turned around their fate in the coming years. And now all of them have a home of their own in the same city where they once lived in a single room.
