During the conversation, she also recalled her life in New York and how she used to trick men. The comedian stated that before fame she was a part-timer at a ladies’ tea room.

But she used to sneak into the oyster bar downstairs where men used to visit. And later started taking their coats because her job was based on tips she collected. The Friendly Fire alum also revealed how she cleverly used to cut the loop from coats so she could make money.
“I would get instead of a quarter I’d get an extra dime, I’d get 35 cents so yeah I was a con artist,” explained the 89-year-old. For the unversed, this incredible performer will turn 90 on April 26.
