From the trendsetting icons of haute couture to the epitomes of untarnished grace, the royal family has long been graced by a lineage of formidable, elegant, and astute women. However, the respective cases of Princess Diana and Meghan Markle fall into a completely different league, owing to the bullet they took while opening up about their mental health struggles in order to advocate for its betterment.
Strapped in the armor of courage once again, Meghan Markle has opened up about being at the bottom of the barrel while the world thought it was all hunky dory in her land.

Public perception for members of the royal family, especially those that have called it quits with the bigger half and moved to Montecito, is the bread and butter that keeps them running. In such cases, implying that their life is not picture perfect can cost them big time, as it did for Meghan Markle. However, unperturbed by the backlash last time, Markle revealed on CBS Sunday Morning as reported by Fox News, the significance of her words. "I just didn't want to be alive anymore," she had said in her Oprah Winfrey interview, words she still stands by to this day.

The former actress looked back upon those days and just how hard the times were as she struggled to even tell her husband what was going on. Markle stated that owing to Prince Harry's history, she found it extremely difficult to talk to him about her suicidal thoughts. Therefore, she believes that the biggest part of stepping out of that zone had been being openly able to talk about it.
Having dealt with the lowest of the low, as she ringed in 43, the Duchess of Sussex decided to spend it meaningfully just like last time.

Weaving in the same thread of empathy that pushed Markle to speak up about her struggles with mental health and suicidal thoughts, the program is directed towards families who are suffering from the impact of social media and more. More specifically, it hopes to provide support to parents who find themselves at a loss for words when met with the new age epidemic: social media. Truly, the Duchess of Sussex could not have found a better way to spend her 43rd birthday.
