As phenomenal of an actress as she is, Millie Bobby Brown wished to have a say in the creative process of things as well. To quench her quest, she rolled out a beauty brand, Florence by Mills in 2019. In a recent flashback video, Brown flipped over an album and remarked on her very first photoshoot for the brand. “It was so cool that like there was a shoot that I had a bit of control of and like creative say.”
Touted as a brand for Gen Z, by Gen Z, the then-teenager managed to oversee its rollout in between the takes of Stranger Things and Enola Holmes. The photo has Brown underneath a blue sky of fluffy clouds sporting an iconic low-cut hairstyle and a white, zipped outfit. As of today, her company focuses on skincare and beauty products branded as clean, cruelty-free, and vegan.

Crippled by relentless SAG-AFTRA strikes, production on Stranger Things still remains elusive. The show is already running months behind its expected deadline. Furthermore, fears of a trimmed-down or alternate storyline have already gripped fans. Despite this backdrop, Millie Bobby Brown recently opined that the very same show had prevented her career from transforming into something more. The actress also added that she was not going to “mourn” the show’s ending and was ready to say “thank you and goodbye”.
The comments did not land well among fans as well as the crew. While fans disliked the manner she lashed out at the show, which gave her a breakthrough, crewmates stood infuriated for lack of respect towards their hard work. Regardless, the actress is making fast progress as she is due to appear in 2024 on mainstream Hollywood alongside Chris Pratt in The Electric State.
