“I felt like I was…”- Sydney Sweeney Opened Up About Working on ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’ by Quentin Tarantino
Sydney Sweeney once accepted to research her way into Hollywood. The Euphoria actress is one of the top trending names in the industry today. But like most actors, she also went through her own struggles, from doing small roles and impressing her way to now leading on the big screens. One such smaller role was in a big Quentin Tarantino movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
The multi-starred comedy-drama was not short on big names, but each one had proved itself. Like every actor has a method to prepare for their roles, Sweeney did, too. She played the role of Snake, one of the real and youngest members of the Manson family. In an interview last year, she revealed her exact process of preparing for the role.

Preparing for any role often requires intense research. Be it the way the character walks, talks, or looks. Sydney Sweeney sure did her homework, even when playing a brief but impressive character in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. She revealed to Vogue in 2019, “When I first walked on, I felt like I was truly there.” The actress hailed the famed director for perfectly recreating a set that could take one back in time.
On her part, she began researching her character Snake immensely. In order to get into the character, she pulled up every interview and article about the Manson girl and put together a book. As if the book had been written by Snake herself, marking down her experience of growing into that social environment.

Plus, going into the actual set helped her even further. She appears in several minor scenes, which include Brad Pitt.
The Euphoria actress still researches her roles now that she stars in movies
Sydney Sweeney recently released her true-story-based movie Reality which was released in 2023. Not only did she watch the real interview with the former agent but also had a Zoom call to learn more about her. She will next be seen in Marvel’s Madame Webb alongside Dakota Johnson. The actress has already been reading a bunch of comic books. While her role has been revealed yet, the actress is quite trained in MMA, which would already help with action scenes if required.
