For most of his career, the actor promoted himself as either the boy from Philadelphia or the man who runs back to his family. While the latter will prevail owing to the slap gate, it is surprising how the Bad Boys actor managed to have such a long-standing career with no cheating rumors. Or so we thought.

The Oscar-winning actor in 2021 released his self-titled memoir ‘Will’, whose candidness remained unmatched till Prince Harry dropped ‘Spare’. Until reading the confession of him being in love with his co-star, Will Smith was the personification of a devoted man.

The actor has been married two times in his life. His first marriage gave him his eldest son Trey, but could not stand the test of time as Will Smith and Sheree Zampino divorced soon after. This, as Smith reveals in his memoir, was also a result of his infatuation with his Six Degrees of Separation co-star, Stockard Channing. “I actually fell in love with Stockard Channing,” he writes in his memoir.

Smith’s character, Paul, in the critically acclaimed film, was in love with Channing’s Louisa. And this translated to him “desperately yearning to see and speak to Stockdard,” despite having wrapped up filming.

The actor heavily holds the use of method acting for the film responsible for his infatuation with the actress. It is quite ironic to see how the tables have turned, as in his second marriage with Jada Pinkett Smith is regarded as the perpetrator.

Did the Bad Boys actor cheat on his wife?

Will Smith, despite confessing to falling in love with a co-star due to method acting, has at no point in his memoir or any public interview confessed to cheating on his wife. While the circumstances may be widely different, it is quite identical to how Jada Pinkett Smith has never confessed to cheating on her husband and the father of her four children.

Instead, on her talk show Red Table Talk, she confessed to having an “entanglement” with August Alsina during the time they decided to take a break. While the Smith couple denied any allegations of infidelity to the hilt, Alsina’s track titled ‘Entanglements’ proves quite the contrary.
