Chris Evans may be known for his role as Captain America in Marvel’s Avengers franchise, but the star has always been known to stay out of the spotlight. In fact, the actor is so detached from all the glitz and glamor that no one even knew he got married until after it had happened. But now the 42-year-old star has decided to give his fans more of a glance at the happenings of his life and even his mind.

After being in the industry for over two decades, the Hollywood heartthrob has finally revealed how he feels about still not winning an Oscar. But that was not the only surprise the actor had for his fans. The other came in the form of a short, crisp three-word answer.

Chris Evans will be gracing GQ’s cover for their October issue. For the same, the actor was interviewed, where he got candid about his thoughts on what he had accomplished in his career so far. It might come as a surprise that one of the world’s most adored actors believes that he has not “climbed any sort of a mountain in this field”, but that is how the 42-year-old feels. During the interview, mentioned how he is his career even though he has “no Oscars.”

Chris Evans ended up saying, “I also feel very satisfied”, when he was asked what he thought about the heights his career had taken him to. But while the actor giving fans a little wholesome moment, it quickly took a rather surprising turn. After explaining that he has various interests, Evans gave his fans more than they were expecting by saying that his ultimate goal, was “to just maybe act a little bit less.”

While the actor aims to take up more supporting roles post the success of Knives Out, Evans also opened up about his time with Marvel. And even gave fans some hope that there might come a day when The Avengers reunite.

Can fans expect another Captain America film starring Chris Evans?

During the same interview with GQ, Evans was asked about whether he would ever be open to coming back to Marvel for another film. Without missing a beat, the actor answered with a booming “never say never.” He went on to say that the experience he had had with Marvel was “wonderful” and that the franchise was “precious” to him. But he also mentioned that the entire experience was so extraordinary that sometimes he “can’t believe it even happened.”

But since Chris Evans loves the franchise as much as his fans do, the actor also revealed that he would not take up another Marvel film if it was not related to the original movies and most importantly, he did not feel connected to the same. Whether or not he will take up the role of Captain America is not sure. Only time can tell if such a possibility even exists, owing that the panels of the multiverse are now open.
