Euphoria may have put stars like Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney on the map. But there was another standout in the show, and that had to be Fezco. Though he may have been a drug dealer, the character had everyone swooning. In fact, it was not just the character that people loved, it was the actor, Angus Cloud himself. Unfortunately, a while after the second season of the show, Cloud passed away leaving his co-star, fans, and family grieving what could have been.

Although fans may not get to see Fezco anymore, their love for the star has not diminished even a little. In fact, two months after his untimely demise, Zendaya revealed just how loved Cloud really was.

Zendaya talks about her love for Angus Cloud

According to reports by People, it was recently revealed that Zendaya had more to say about Angus Cloud than she was letting on. The two worked together on two seasons of Euphoria before the tragedy struck. In an email response, the actress revealed that Cloud was not a fan of his own acting. Even though the cast would compliment him, she said, “I don’t think he ever truly believed it.”

In her email, Zendaya, who stunned fans at a Beyoncé concert recently, also revealed the dynamic between the two. She went on to say that Cloud “felt like a little brother” which was ironic given their opposing roles in the series. As per her admission, she was “lucky” to have borne witness to his discovery of being an actor. She ended her email by saying that she had got to “experience the most beautiful parts of him.”

Although the two had a play a junkie and her drug dealer on Euphoria, their relationship ended up turning into something beautiful. However, all of that came crashing down when the news of his passing broke back in July of this year.

Angus Cloud’s untimely demise

Earlier this year, Euphoria fans came to a standstill on July 31st, 2023 when it was announced that Angus Cloud had sadly passed away at the age of 25. His mom, Lisa, was the one that found him in his room. She later revealed that initially, she had not thought anything of it as the star had a habit of falling asleep at his table. Unfortunately, this time was not like all the rest.

A little while after his death, it was announced that the reason behind it was an accidental drug overdose. While most people thought that it could have something to do with the passing of his father just months before, the coroner and details from his mother proved his death to be accidental. The star may be gone, but he continues to live on in the hearts of his fans, friends, and most importantly, his family.
