Long before she tied the knot to the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was an incredibly renowned actress in Hollywood. Markle enjoys an awe-inspiring list of film and TV credits under her belt. She started off with a career in acting at a young age before landing her breakthrough role in the 2015 legal drama Suits. While Markle’s acting career was incredible while it lasted, a co-star of the actress previously made some shocking claims.

Throughout her career, Markle collaborated with several stars on her films and shows. And a while ago, an old clip of Russel Brand surfaced online where he revealed some sensitive details about working with Markle. 

Throwback to when Russel Brand shared a peculiar incident with Meghan Markle

Back in 2010, Russel Brand and Meghan Markle worked on the romantic comedy film Get Him to the Greek. Eight years after the film’s release, the 48-year-old actor appeared on the talk show Loose Women. Not only did he recall his experience of working alongside the Duchess of Sussex, he boasted of having kissed Markle during one of the scenes. As per Brand, “I don’t remember the film that much. I think I planted one on her in the scene. It was scripted in the scene.“

The actor added that he did not remember the incident until he watched a clip on the internet. Interestingly, Brand shared the incident mere days before the Suits star was about to get married to Prince Harry in 2018. However, since his comment, Markle has yet to respond. Get Him To the Greek was one of the early films in the actress’s career. The Duchess of Sussex had a small role in the movie and starred as partygoer Tatiana in the film. 

Meanwhile, after taking a break from acting, Markle will soon be returning to the big screens but in a different role.

Meghan Markle has a new Netflix project but she is in it this time

It has been quite some time since the audience last saw Meghan Markle on the big screen. There is no denying the fact that she still enjoys a massive fan base who want to see her back. Much to their delight, the Suits star will soon be returning to Netflix with an exciting project. Days after she and Prince Harry stepped into productions, they acquired the rights for the best-selling novel Meet Me At The Lake. 

The former Royal couple will release the novel adaptation under Archewell Productions. Interestingly, Markle is rumored to be the lead actress in the upcoming adaptation. Moreover, the film might also bring a legendary actor alongside the actress to bring the story to life. At this moment all information regarding casting is pure speculation and a release date is up in the air.
