Even two years after the conclusion of his stint, the 45th President of the USA Donald Trump manages to find ways to stay relevant. From talk shows to podcasts, the businessman is doing it all, except for going in front of a jury of his peers. Most recently, Trump decided to call out a certain Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their treatment of the former monarch of England, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
While most would not have expected such a random pairing, Trump went on to reveal that he would like to debate Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. But the biggest surprise was yet to come.

Recently, Donald Trump appeared on The Hugh Hewitt’s show to discuss his professional life, politics, thoughts, and more. And while the businessman seemed to be up to his usual antics, he might have gone even further with his latest revelation. During the show, Trump was asked whether he would be open to the idea of debating Markle and Prince Harry, who had recently planned a change of scenery.
After scoffing at the comment, it was evident that the former President may have gotten a little too carried away. He went on to tell Hewitt that he was unsure that the couple disliked him. But continued to say, “I didn’t like the way she dealt with the Queen. I became very friendly with the Queen.” After a little of a rant, Hewitt led Trump back to the original question.
He ended up answering that with, “Oh, if you want to set it up, let’s set it up. Let’s go do something. I’d love to debate her. I would love it. I disagree so much with what they’re doing.” While many fans were not shaken by this crossover episode, some were unsure where it came from.
Donald Trump’s love for the Royal Family
While Donald Trump has never been one to shy away from saying what he truly feels, he surprised everyone in 2018 by revealing that he was looking forward to meeting Queen Elizabeth II for the first time. That was the beginning of him opening up about his love for the late Queen. A love that began while he was a child grew into what fans have seen since 2017. But it all started with Donald Trump’s mother, as he explained in his book, Trump: The Art of the Deal. After a while, it was also revealed by the Sun that the Queen was the only person that Trump respected.
