Arnold Schwarzenegger grew up in the war-struck ruins of Austria. This meant a lack of exposure to good opportunities and an abundance of problems, ranging from food scarcity to education. It is also precisely why, when the Austrian Oak took on the stage as the youngest winner of Mr. Olympia, it was hard to find a heart that did not swell at the tale. And years later, the reaction remains identical. However, to go from a scrawny kid with no training to building a body worth winning a global title was a Herculean task. One that the former bodybuilder could not have accomplished without a certain food.

The Austrian Oak is still hailed as the greatest bodybuilder of all time. This is because, at the time he was training, there was a dearth of hi-tec workout machines and steroids. While the bodybuilder did later confess to trying a few steroids, most of it was just pure hard work and an extravagant amount of protein on a regular basis. While eggs have proven to be the most trusted way of adding protein to your system given the opulence of vitamins and minerals they possess, they are not for everyone.
