In today’s episode of royal controversies, we have Meghan Markle’s estranged and to some extent disgraced father, Thomas Markle, breaching headlines. The year-long animosity between the father and daughter has resulted in quite a few infamous disputes ever since the Duchess stepped into the royal limelight. Starting from selling her pictures to the paps to making an unforgettable glaring absence at Markle’s wedding, the world has witnessed it all. 

In the latest family interview, although relationships stay stagnant as ever, he expressed his wish to be reunited with her daughter. However, it seems like the recent developments are not really helping.

Meghan Markle’s father denies claims of involvement in any royal bus tour   

A stirring controversy has once again erupted with Markle’s father at the core of it. However, the 79-year-old has pressed on, dismissing any type of association with whatever has happened recently. Last evening, the Daily Mail issued a publication stating the previous night Thomas Markle opened up to the publication. “I never gave my approval to Karl Larsen for any tour anywhere,” he said to the Mail on Tuesday. “I am not involved in any way,” he further added. 

A source close to Thomas Markle has claimed that the Duchess’ father, who had been physically battling with strokes and heart attacks since last year, has suffered quite a negative effect. “There is no truth to any of it,” it added. The claims against him in the alleged fiasco against her daughter had left him “fuming and deeply distressed“.

Bus on sightseeing promises to visit important Meghan Markle landmarks

As merry-making as this might sound for the commoners, this has erupted as another headache for the California royals and their relatives. Last Sunday the Mirror reported that Larsen claimed the father “approved” him of the tour. He previously worked as a photographer, Markle. The $1,200 bus tour reportedly prices six people at a time for the royal sightseeing. It drives places like their 14 million dollar Montecito mansion, Prince Harry’s luxurious Polo Club, and the couple’s favorite hangout spots in California. 

Since it is also the hometown of the Duchess of Sussex, it also promises to drive past places associated with Markle during her childhood. The embers still remain in Los Angeles, which also comes within the route of the bus. As of now, Karl Larsen is the name that comes out first if one traces back to who started it. However, sources have widely dismissed and scoffed at Thomas Markle’s involvement.

His own son, and Meghan Markle’s stepbrother, Tom Jr. also added claiming his father had no idea of anything. Frowning at Larsen, he said, “What kind of person does that?”
