People’s Icon expressed his feeling about Macfadyen joining the Deadpool team.

Recently, the 46-year-old actor received an honorary Humanitarian Award. Following the big honor, Etalk had a conversation with the Vancouver-born actor. During their conversation, the interviewer asked about the Succession star joining the Deadpool team and if Reynolds was rooting for Macfadyen. “I am always rooting for him because he is one of the best actors out there,” said Reynolds.

When the interviewer revealed that they hated him in the HBO hit show, the father of four had a contradictory answer. Ryan Reynolds mentioned he loved Macfadyen in Succession. Revealing the reason, the 46-year-old said he would embrace an actor who could straddle the line of villain and hero. The Proposal star admitted Matthew Macfadyen is one of the interesting actors working currently.

He could not stop gushing over Macfadyen as he admitted Macfadyen’s presence on the Deadpool sets would be nerve-wracking for Reynolds. Well, seeing the Wrexham AFC owner talking about the film and actors joining the team makes the fans feel impatient as well.

Apart from the fact that the actor would play Deadpool for the last time, the locations of the film are out. Moreover, The Crown star, Emma Corrin, is also going to join the team as a villain in the movie.
