Schwarzenegger is a man of many talents, but reading is not one of them. “I’m a terrible reader,” admitted the 76-year-old in his latest newsletter. The actor finds it challenging to read aloud owing to his dyslexia. Thus, he felt a sense of dread when tasked with recording his audiobook for his latest publication, Be Useful. Typically, he relies on memorizing lines for movies and speeches, so the prospect of reading a 200-pages book within three days in a studio was his worst nightmare. The star was worried about mistakes and the possibility of embarrassing himself in front of the publisher and the listeners.

Nevertheless, he refused to let his fear hinder him from completing the task at hand. “I broke it into small pieces instead of trying to bite off more than I could chew,” said the star. He practiced consistently breaking down the task into small portions and sought assistance from his team.

Following the newsletter’s publication, fans expressed their heartfelt thankfulness to the bodybuilding legend for being real and motivating people around the world.
