“I also feel frightened” – Meghan Markle Shares Her Apprehensions About Social Media as a Mother of Two

Recently, the Californian couple made their return to New York to celebrate World Mental Health Day. During the event, Markle revealed her biggest fear, which traces back to the online world, as a mother of two.

After making their departure from the Royal duties, the Sussexes created their own non-profit charitable organization, the Archewell Foundation. On the 10th of October, the Archewell Foundation had its first-ever in-person summit, in honor of World Mental Health Day. The summit aimed at shedding light on the concerns of parents regarding their children’s irresponsible social media usage. People reported Markle saying, “I also feel frightened”, thinking about the future of her children in the digital sphere during the summit.
The Summit served as a platform for all the suffering parents who talked about their struggles of protecting their children in this digital age. After listening to their grievances, the Duchess shared that though she will not have to deal with these issues in the immediate future, as her kids are small, she is worried about the future. Markle also went on to say, “Being a mom is the most important thing in my entire life” and she wants to create a safe space in the online world and social media.
While Markle was busy trying to find a solution to these parenting challenges stemming from the Internet, her fans flooded social media praising Markle’s outfit from the event.
