The filming for Deadpool 3 might be wrapped up, but that has not stopped stars like Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman from teasing fans with what could be in the upcoming film. With plot rumors and casting speculations, fans have been hoping to see various stars like Taylor Swift, Jennifer Garner, Henry Cavill and more make cameos in the highly anticipated film. Unfortunately, none of them have been confirmed by either the actors or the director, Shawn Levy, yet.

Now, with four months left to go before the third installment of the Merc with a Mouth franchise drops, the Wolverine star has given a shout-out to a rumored cast member in the most hilarious way.

Hugh Jackman recently started up the rumor mill when he took to his Instagram to shout out a comment left on one of his posts. In a post to his stories, the 55-year-old highlighted Channing Tatum's previous comment that read, "Letttsss gooo daddy!!!!" While the actor may have been flattered, he got a little sassy and posted the comment to Minnie Riperton's 'Lovin' You'.

Jackman also captioned the story with the lyrics of the song, "Lovin' you is easy, 'cause you're be.." Although it might have been a joke between old friends, fans immediately began speculating that this could be the thing that cements Tatum's involvement in the Ryan Reynolds project. However, the stars have all been keeping their lips sealed on that front ever since the Deadpool 3 leaks took over social media.

Although not too much about the upcoming film has been given away, fans have been teased with enough bits and pieces to keep them hooked on the beloved franchise.

Since 2022, fans have been waiting to see Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman take the screen together once more. While the stars have kept their plans for Deadpool 3 rather close to their chests, they gave fans a brief look at the film with the Super Bowl trailer. From hilariously sarcastic jokes to appearances of the TVA members and even Dogpool, it proved to be packed with surprises for fans. However, they will have to wait until July 26th to find out more.

With Deadpool 3 bringing back the beloved Wolverine, fans have been hoping that a few other X-Men stars could make a brief comeback for the movie. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, Sir Patrick Stewart teased the possibility of him reprising his role as Charles Xavier.
