In July, Marvel's beloved Merc with a Mouth has very well managed to expand its repertoire of hilarious antics in preparation for the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine film. As the comical air reaches its peak with exchanges between stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, fans were recently surprised by a response from Jackman himself.

Normally, Reynolds dominates with his quick wit in every comedic exchange, but this time, the dynamic between the superhero duo seems to have caught on with Jackman, leaving him with the final laugh after Reynolds' recent stunt of a billboard hijack.

As Deadpool & Wolverine nears a theatrical release, its delivery of top-notch comic relief has been intensifying with the star-studded quirky exchanges. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's social media feeds have been flooded with everything Deadpool & Wolverine, including unexpected thirst traps and nods to their “dysfunctional duo” status. The recent barrel of laughter may have begun with Deadpool's ad board takeover, but Wolverine briefly outshone the reigning king of wit with a sarcastic "thanks" that might have caught Reynolds off guard.

Reynolds recently upped the ante by hijacking a billboard to showcase Wolverine's singing chops, featuring a clip from Jackman's role in Oklahoma, much to the delight of fans. Jackman, while criticizing Reynolds' choice of the clip as being from the “wrong movie,” could not resist adding his clawed-out touch of humor, suggesting it might have evoked tears — if not from laughter, then at least from nostalgia.

With the comic banter thriving between the “dysfunctional duo”, rumors also suggest that Blake Lively might join as a cameo, potentially expanding the tagline to a dysfunctional trio.

For quite some time, fans have eagerly awaited the cameo lineup of Deadpool & Wolverine, particularly speculating about the roles of Lady Deadpool and Dazzler, with speculations of casting Blake Lively and Taylor Swift. While Swift's involvement was dismissed, excitement around Lively's potential intensified after a special screening of the movie in Shanghai, China, where a substantial portion was previewed. Following the screening, fans noted that Lady Deadpool's voice bore a resemblance to Lively's, despite no confirmation from a visible appearance.

Hollywood insider My TimeToShineHello, however, promptly took to X to clarify that "Lady Deadpool footage was only 5 seconds long and no voice was heard, so that's not true." This revelation leaves a significant question mark regarding whether Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will be joined by a third character to heighten the comedic stakes in Deadpool & Wolverine. However, should it come to fruition, fans can anticipate a trio performance filled with relentless humor, possibly overshadowing even the bizarre billboard hijack in wit and humor.
