The cast of Deadpool & Wolverine, as chaotic as they are, remain a wholesome bunch. Throughout the movie-making process, the cast and crew have displayed grit and compassion. This was evident when Reynolds wrote a moving tribute to Ray Chan, and now as Hugh Jackman revealed to Entertainment Weekly how he still remembers the dinner that Kevin Feige brought for him, after what he thought was a failed audition.

Jackman reiterated that Feige went out of his way to cheer him up and then even proceeded to drop him at the airport out of pure kindness. This gesture has stayed with him throughout the years. Fortunately for the Wolverine actor, not only did he bag the role but also found a friend to look up to.

As Ryan Reynolds, through his persistent pestering, brought back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, in the most unexpected of ways, Kevin Feige did not hold back from ensuring the movie's blockbuster success. This is evident as the flick heads towards the big screens as the first R-rated Marvel Studios movie with half a dozen cameos.

From taking the risk of releasing an R-rated movie to headlining the grand budget, the exact amount of which is yet to be revealed, Feige has been a godfather to the movie like no other, and hopefully, when the movie makes it to the theaters on July 26, everything from that dinner decades ago and the ludicrous budget will pay off.
