Deadpool & Wolverine is easily the biggest tease for this season of superheroes as Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman finally have a purpose to don the nearly antiquated hero ensembles. But as they prepare to bring the most-anticipated film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the comic geeks next week in the theaters, the surge of theories has been overflowing. While a few of the darts have hit the mark so far, one of the recently outed theories about Reynolds was even endorsed by his superhero partner, Jackman. 

Although it is difficult to determine if this lends any credibility to the speculations, Jackman’s involvement at least indicates that not only fans, but the stars themselves are also enjoying the attention.

Following the final trailer release of Deadpool & Wolverine, fans have been caught in a never-ending debate about the identity of Lady Deadpool behind the mask, having seen her in all her splendor for the first time. Although Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were the nominated candidates for the cameo, a new fan theory suggested it was none other than Ryan Reynolds himself. Speaking to ETimes at a recent global press conference, Hugh Jackman mentioned this theory when asked about his favorite fan theory.

In an attempt to poke fun at Reynolds, the Wolverine actor urged him to take off the mask for the reveal on behalf of the fans. However, the Deadpool actor, with his signature quick wit, retorted with a grin, “my hips, they lie like hell. Those hips don’t lie.” Before the actors could drop any more hints, director Shawn Levy interjected, urging them to “say no more,” to avoid spoiling the suspense or giving rise to new theories.

While Lady Deadpool's glory attack was an exciting surprise for fans eagerly awaiting Deadpool & Wolverine, another detail in the final trailer has sparked a flurry of fan theories.

In the recently released final trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel enthusiasts got their first full look at Lady Deadpool after several brief glimpses. Lady Deadpool appears in the final moments of the trailer with her long blonde hair flowing out of the mask in a ponytail. Interestingly, she does not seem to be alone. Behind her, a magical portal's dusty fog obscures a group of characters. If one were to turn to the comics, this could be the Deadpool Corps, consisting of different Deadpools from across the MCU’s Multiverse. 

Usually including Deadpool, Lady Deadpool, Kidpool, Dogpool, and Headpool, this group has teamed up to tackle various multiversal threats. Since Deadpool & Wolverine centers on a multiversal adventure, the likelihood of it being the Deadpool Corps makes sense. Additionally, given the feverish anticipation about Deadpool variants, they may tag along with Lady Deadpool when Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters.
