The post that the page shared had Deadpool lifting Wolverine in a very La La Land-ish way. Even though it was clearly animated, the post sparked a frenzy of laughter among fans. Apart from giving peeks into the chemistry between Deadpool and Wolverine ahead of the movie’s release, these press tours have also sparked curiosity about possible cameos. Especially the Shanghai fan event, the first stop of the tour, led to a major rumor.

Blake Lively is one of the most rumored actors to have a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine, apart from Taylor Swift, of course. During the Shanghai fan event, a few lucky fans had the chance to catch 30-40 minutes of the movie. Following the event, some rumors surfaced regarding Lively appearing as Lady Deadpool in the movie. Apparently, the 30-40 minutes had a feature of Lady Deadpool, and though the character's face was not visible, her voice sounded similar to that of the Gossip Girl alum. 

A Hollywood insider, however, debunked the rumor later. MyTimeToShineHello shared a response to the rumor on X, stating, "The Lady Deadpool footage was 5 seconds long and no voice was heard so that's not true.” Whether or not Lively makes an appearance in the movie, she has definitely contributed to the creation of some of the best memories on Deadpool & Wolverine sets, making fans even more eager to see the dysfunctional yet rom-com-esque dynamic between Deadpool and Wolverine.
