Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, has allegedly accused Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively- who is also close with the group- of helping to hide The Wolverine star's supposed unfaithfulness.

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announced their shocking split in September 2023. Since then, there has been a lot of talk about what went wrong between them after 27 years of marriage. A source recently told Radar Online that the reason for their divorce was Jackman’s “clandestine affair,” which Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively allegedly knew about but kept quiet to "cover for" their friend. "They kept their lips sealed out of loyalty to Hugh," said the source. 

The source also revealed that this left Furness feeling “blindsided,” especially since she was also close friends with Reynolds and Lively. This is not the first time and insider has hinted at Jackman's alleged affair with Sutton Foster, his co-star in The Music Man on Broadway. But no matter the reason for the split, Reynolds, the loyal friend, stepped up to support Jackman through the tough time.

In fact, Reynolds played a huge role in helping Jackman navigate the emotional rollercoaster of his divorce from his ex-wife.

In an interview with PEOPLE, right after Hugh Jackman’s divorce, Ryan Reynolds and the ‘Logan’ star reflected on the moments they have gotten through together. When talking about Reynolds, Jackman shared how he has become a true support system for him over the years. "There's probably fewer friends in our life that guy can say anything to," said Jackman about Reynolds. 

Reynolds also compared their "long-lasting Hollywood friendship" to a marriage. While the latest reports about Deborra-Lee Furness are only based on anonymous sources and nothing has been confirmed, the accusation against Reynolds and Blake Lively for supporting Jackman’s alleged infidelity could bring back the couple's hate train that had finally started to slow down recently.
