Unlike their own, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle have been quite vocal about their problems. Its first-ever instance came as the revolutionary Oprah Winfrey interview that sent shockwaves around the world. Following it, there had been various instances where the couple has clearly gone against the never complain, never explain agenda. This time, too, the couple seeks an answer. They wish to know if they were snubbed, what/who was the reason, or so the reports say. 

As reported by Hindustan Times via Heat, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are heavily disappointed about getting thrown off the Nominations. “The fact that they didn’t get an Emmy nod is a huge kick in the teeth,” the insider said. Word has it that the couple now believes that there is a full pre-planned conspiracy campaign going on against them. To get to the roots of it, they seek answers. 

The source further added to the couple is this might be the deeds of some “campaign against them on both sides of the Atlantic,” that have assigned people to execute their plans accordingly. The source added that the pair want a “full request” on who “put the boot in” their path. It is alleged that they did their level best to catch a break in the industry. Hence, the snub just did not set right for the couple. 

The 2023 Emmy Awards did not have Harry & Meghan on the list

Months prior to the nomination list release, there was a huge hype around the couple grabbing a trophy at the award shows. Their Netflix bombshell skyrocketed to break a couple of records for the American streamer. The amount of viewership that it gathered, and sources pushed that they have a chance of winning an Emmy. In fact, the show also made its space at the esteemed Hollywood Critics Award. 

In Emmys, nonetheless, the couple was nowhere to be seen on the list released by Variety. Despite its humongous popularity, their six-part docuseries did not grab an award at the esteemed Awards. Unfortunately, they could not even make it to the nomination list in the first place, leave alone winning one.
