How Ryan Reynolds Called Out ‘Stranger Things’ Joe Kerry at Jimmy Fallon Show For This One Reason
Ryan Reynolds‘ sense of humor is simply unmatched. The actor lights up every room with his effortlessly hilarious jokes and quick-witted persona. Whether it is a social media post, ad campaign, or interviews, he never leaves a chance to showcase his comedic genius. Many people might wonder how he does this all the time without stopping for a moment. It is maybe because the Canadian superstar is extremely quick on his feet and notices even the smallest details that miss normal people’s eyes.
In fact, fan favorite Stranger Things star Joe Keery could not escape his sharp sight when they met at an event. The Deadpool star later called him out at the Jimmy Fallon Show for the thing he noticed there.

In 2o19, Ryan Reynolds stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his film 6 Underground. During the interview, Fallon showed a clip of him from Brazil’s CCXP. He explained the moment how he went down the stage to meet his fans and a barricade came tumbling down. So, making sure no one gets hurt, he jumped back while Joe Keery in the background ran for his life.
In that clip, the 46-year-old noticed the singer picked up his drink on the way out instead of helping him. “That’s Joe Keery from Stranger Things right behind me. He’s in my movie, Free Guy, that we were there for,” said Reynolds. He also poked fun at the actor, saying that the man did not try to be a hero there and just sneaked out safely.
In another interview, the Netflix star discussed how this barricade mishap nearly caused him to break his promise to his wife, Blake Lively.

During the press tour of the same movie, Ryan Reynolds also talked to ET’s Rachel Smith about the incident. But this time, he shed light on how his wife took a promise to come home in one piece. The Red Notice star said he almost broke his promise when the barricade came towards him and would have crushed him.
Fortunately, he moved quickly and saved his fans too, who came rushing towards him for selfies and autographs. “For them, it looked rather pleasant, but I got the hell out of there just in time. But everyone was OK, and that’s all that matters,” remarked Ryan.
