Millie Bobby Brown is a proud Gen Z wifey. The actress got engaged on April 11, 2023, to her longtime boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi. And a year later, in May this year, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in attendance of their close friends and family members. The pair is reportedly planning a larger ceremony later this year. While there is not much information regarding the nuptials of the two, as they have kept their union quite low-key, Brown’s wedding ring has caught attention for over a year now. 

After she narrated the story of her engagement proposal earlier this year, the intrigue around her ring has even grown. 

The first time Millie Bobby Brown treated her fans to the sight of her sparkling, cushion-cut diamond engagement ring was back in April, when she announced her engagement on Instagram. Shortly after that, she posted an announcement video of the launch of her Florence By Mills Coffee, where she gave a close-up of the halo-set diamond engagement ring. As per Kathryn Money, SVP of merchandising and retail expansion at Brilliant Earth, the wedding ring of the star costs anywhere between  $75,000 to $100,000.

Olivia Landau, GIA-certified gemologist, told Page Six that the rock on the Stranger Things actor's engagement ring is between three to three-and-a-half carats. However, it is not the ring Jake Bongiovi had originally proposed to Brown with. Brown ended up with two wedding rings, and the credit for it goes to the unique way in which the 22-year-old chose to pop the question to his now-wifey.

Millie Bobby Brown shared the hilarious yet adorable underwater proposal story, and how her ring almost got lost in the ocean.

Millie Bobby Brown appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in February this year, where she shared the details of her engagement to Jake Bongiovi. Brown revealed that Bongiovi chose to surprise her underwater since the couple bonded over diving, where he handed her a shell with a ring in it. However, just as Bongiovi put the ring on Brown's hand, it slipped off her fingers and plummeted into the ocean, leading the 22-year-old to dive into the ocean to rescue the ring in a "cinematic grab".

Brown's mother probably had foreseen such a catastrophe and hence did not allow Bongiovi to use her engagement ring in the ocean. The ring Bongiovi initially proposed with was only a placeholder ring, and the original wedding ring of Brown that has captivated fans for so long is actually the Enola Holmes actress' mother's, which was given to her once the couple got on a boat safely.
