How Meghan Markle’s ‘Suits’ Character Cleary Hinted at Her Budding Romance With Prince Harry
It’s Suits season, and the Netflix-acquired franchise has probably had an explosion of popularity in its entire lifespan. The famous mastermind behind the show has been giving precious insights into the past and future of his brainchild. Aaron Korsh recently attended a slew of interviews that detailed analysis of what it was like to cast a soon-to-be royal on the set as the main character. Nonetheless, as the universe conspired to unite the military Prince and Hollywood Princess, even the show could not escape from giving major cameos about Meghan Markle‘s future.
The Duchess of Sussex took her farewell from the Suits at its Zenith, months before she stepped into the royal sphere. However, long before the media got the hang of things, the show had already given a heads-up to the upcoming royal unison. A couple of years after it first aired in 2011, in 2013, the show had Markle and her on-screen BFF Sarah Rafferty debating over a suitor for the ladies.

As Rafferty asked, “Why should I go out with him? Just because he’s charming and hot?”. With this Markle’s Rachel Zane added, and “witty and British”. It did not end here and the co-star further created a stir by saying, “And has a title!” said Donna Paulsen. The conversation further went into more details than even hinting that the suitor was based out of London. Nonetheless, this was not the only royal link the show had.
Aaron Korsh also revealed how the Royal family basically became an uncredited editor for the show.

In an interview with the Hollywood reporter, Aaron Korsh said the interference turned out to be quite irritating for the showrunner. Many times and oft, the family modified various dialogues and scripts of Meghan Markle. Since she was soon to get entitled as the Duchess of Sussex.

Words like poppyc*ck were cut out of Markle’s dialogues. The family did not want the Duchess to get into the scandalous misinterpretation of the media. Later, despite his better judgment, the creator accorded with the decisions. Furthermore, as Markle took the helm of the Royal daughter-in-law, the frenzy around the show saw an exponential boost. There was certainly some interest around Meghan Markle, claimed Aaron Korsh in the same interview.
