The shift from a witch hunt to popular acclaim was quite difficult to miss. Especially if you are a newly retired royal looking to make a career in Hollywood.

Akin to the SKIMS owner, Meghan Markle turned negative headlines into positive ones about her perseverance and struggle. Although the criticism against her is still undying, the Oprah Winfrey interview did wonders for her.

While she has expressed empathy for the couple as they struggled with media scrutiny, she fails to relate. After all, she is Kim Kardashian, “a mother, millionaire, a law student, and a billionaire.”
