The day has finally come when Britons will be witnessing the new monarch getting crowned in Westminster Abbey. After months of anticipation, we’ve finally approached May 6th to kick start a new era. Palace members have been quite upfront with the pomp and pageantry for the most awaited Royal finale. The core members especially have been swamped for months on it. The new monarch, King Charles has been looking after his subjects in his royal base. Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales have been promoting the crown country-wide through various walkabouts.

Nonetheless, to our surprise, the three came together for a surprise visit to greet the fans. As reported by BBC, King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton surprised the fans camped in The Mall. The previous afternoon, the epic trio appeared out of nowhere to surprise the fans off-guard. The wave of fans rushed to meet their favorite royals and secured prime spots along the routes.

The king, his heir, and the daughter-in-law of Buckingham Palace were all smiles along The Mall. While the monarch shook hands with many of his followers, Prince William and Kate Middleton greeted the fans with hoards of best wishes. The secret walkabout prior to one day before the coronation brought out the true feelings of the UK commoners.

Eager and elated fans waved banners and flags to express their support for the monarchy. Meanwhile, the chants of “God Save The King” echoed through the streets. The king was swept off his feet. However, Prince William and Kate Middleton appeared comfortable in their settled outfits.

While fans were clinging to one another to get a glimpse of the princess, Middleton on her part, did her best to please the audience. “It’s nice to be there and say hello,” said the princess while greeting the fans. She also added that the next day was going to be “a new start for everyone“.

A similar statement also came from Prince William, who said that it has been a busy weekend for all of them. Prior to this walkabout, the couple appeared earlier while welcoming the governor’s general and prime Ministers of the realm in Buckingham.
