Apparently, the Friends alum did go on a “dinner date” with a “very handsome studio executive who brought an envelope”. However, minutes into their conversation, the man “pulled out a screenplay for a slasher-horror-film-meets-rom-com” where he wanted to star opposite Aniston.

While that is a tale of a date gone wrong on every level, Aniston also changed her go-to spot for dates from lavish dinners to something surprising.

The source noted that a retail and movie theatre complex in L.A.’s Century City business area is currently her hotspot for rendezvous.

The source also admitted the actress’s twofold theory behind the change of air. According to her, meeting people at the mall gives Aniston the chance “to size up the guy in broad daylight.”. Considering the person is a “loser” like the one from the bad “dinner date”, the actress still has the chance to “go shopping instead”. Therefore, even if worse comes to worst, she will still have the millennial’s getaway of a shopping spree over the hellish acquaintances.
