Jennifer Aniston is known to many as the fearless, bold diva from her character Rachel in Friends. But the actress had quite a humble beginning, where she worked as a waitress at an ice cream place. Like most of the Friends cast members, she shot to fame after the first episode aired in 1994. Slowly raking in millions as the show progressed, she diversified her genre and acted alongside other legends like Adam Sandler and her The Morning Show co-actress Reese Witherspoon.

Only a maiden in her voyage, the Red Notice actress was given an opportunity to work on this famous sitcom, and here’s why she was so nervous about it.

The actress lent her voice to Miss Stevens in the first episode of South Park Season 3. But turns out, the actress was “really, really nervous.” In an interview with CheatSheet in 2021, the show’s directors, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone, talked about how Aniston wanted to be a part of the show because her ex-husband Brad Pitt and she were big fans. But the actress reportedly got nervous and was “visibly shaking.” Though Stone joked about how “big stars” like them might have made her nervous, Parker came to the rescue.

He predicted that her nervousness was because of never doing that kind of acting. He added, “Once she stopped shaking she did a great job. I think she’s really funny in this.” The Murder Mystery actress appeared in the episode titled ‘Rainforest Schmainforest’. As mentioned, she played Miss Stevens, the chaperone for the choir who sang a song about saving the rainforest. Miss Stevens then gets tangled in a tribal sacrifice in the rainforest.

Animated sitcoms like South Park and The Simpsons have often portrayed controversial storylines in some episodes. While The Simpsons is famous for its almost accurate predictions, South Park is famous for upsetting its episodes on celebrities and their drama. One of their pretty controversial ones was the episode titled Worldwide Privacy Tour. It showed a red-haired Prince on a horse talking to his princess using a horn. Though Meghan Markle and Prince Harry found it “boring,” it did send the internet in a storm.

Not just the Sussex couple, but Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise, Ed Sheeran, and Sarah Jessica Parker have shown their dissent. The episodes focusing especially on celebrities have mostly never landed right. And of course, where there is controversy, there is Kanye West who got his very own ‘Cupid Ye’ this year in February.
