He said, “I felt, ‘I’m like a prop on this show.” The show, the ending of which has surprising facts behind it, mainly revolved around the main 6 characters, which made the actor feel like it was not about Mike Hannigan.
His feeling sidelined did not mean he was not happy to be a part of the sitcom. The 55-year-old actor admitted he felt lucky to be a part of something that had a “profound impact on pop culture.” Although he did not sign up for more than 2 episodes, he became a regular eventually.
