How Former Austrian Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brought Military Action to Netflix’s ‘Fubar’
No one can love action more than Arnold Schwarzenegger. Ever since the 75-year-old actor entered the world of cinema, he has been the biggest action icon who refuses to retire. Even to this day, he can give competition to actors from younger generations and attract audiences to anything that he does. Now the actor has freshly landed in a series for the first time with Netflix’s Fubar.
Apart from his looks, personality, and accent, it is perhaps his image as an action hero that still gets him love. In an attempt to promote his latest action series, the Austrian Oak brought back his days from serving in the Austrian military to Hollywood.

When it comes to action, no one is quite as experienced as Arnold Schwarzenegger. As shown in Netflix’s Tudum, the actor showed exactly how and why. The promotional video showed him crushing a Mercedes Benz suddenly with a heavy-duty war tanker. He then entered a building to sit on the chair meant for Chief Action Officer for Netflix. Then the actor hilariously explained his love for action, stating how he wants to sprinkle some of it into comedy, romance, drama, or any other genre.
What came as a surprise is his confession later that he was the one to drive the tank in the promo. The proud immigrant learned to drive the tank at the tender age of 18 years old while serving in the Austrian military. He had, in fact, brought the tank to the USA after settling down and jumped on the opportunity to use it again.
Times have changed, but the actor remains the star of action projects by tweaking the roles as time passes. Fubar is also made on similar lines now.

Fubar managed to mix Schwarzenegger’s skills with a perfect blend of comedy and action. He plays the role of a retired C.I.A. agent who discovers that his daughter is also working for the agency. His protective nature and important mission lead them to work together as an unlikely team.
It has ample of his classic action sequences that will remind one of his The Terminator days. The series is one of the several projects that the actor has with Netflix now.
