Despite the hardships in her life, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle knows how to keep herself on point in any given situation. Given her celebrity lifestyle back in California, the Duchess was exposed to the typical American ways of living. In fact, this was exactly one of the prime reasons for the fallout between the Sussexes and the royal family. Having lived the freestyle life of an actress, she could not get accustomed to the strict royal protocols that prevail in the Palace. Nonetheless, with or without any royal support, the Duchess knows how to take care of herself. 

Long before she even obtained the title of Duchess, former Suits actress Meghan Markle sat for an interview with Express. As reported by the outlet, the star shared a lot about her lifestyle, her favorite perfumes, the Hollywood actress she looks up to, and some major beauty tips. In fact, she also detailed how she spends her me-time filled with self-love and care. When asked about how she pampers herself, Markle’s reply about how the usually preferred hacks were not her cup of tea. 

Instead, perfectionist Markle loves to get her things done. “I hate massages!” she revealed. She would rather lie down and get a laundry list checked out in her head before she gets started. However, her other ways of pampering herself are “going on a holiday” and treating herself with a “beautiful dinner and bottle of wine.” More so, the one she used to take the most delight in was giving herself a lazy day doing nothing.

One of the very few things that headlined the interview was Markle’s wardrobe and her dressing sense. Forever the fashionista, she likes to keep her wardrobe really classic. “I don’t take a lot of fashion risks,” Markle said. She just knows what works best for her body and sticks with that. “I really like the neutral color palette,” she added.  

To this date, Markle has been sticking to her old-money fashion with minimalistic yet classic ideas. Her favorite list of a few top-tier fashion brands, all shaded in subdued, minimalistic hues, had set the trend when she rose to become a global icon. In fact, her closely picked fashion sense and choices primarily substantiated the Meghan Markle effect of her era.
