Perhaps, two of the biggest names in Hollywood right now, both young stars have taken the world by storm. We are no strangers to how both actresses are a huge influence among the youth. As we all know, Ortega and Brown have had a very similar arc as they carved a niche in the film industry. Both started off young and early and even got their major breakthrough through different Netflix projects. However, that is not the only thing the two have in common. It seems like the Wednesday star is on the same path as Brown. During her latest roundtable interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress confirmed that she would be coming in as a producer on her popular show Wednesday.

Not long ago, we also saw the Stranger Things star serve as the producer alongside acting on the Netflix blockbuster film Enola Homes and Enola Holmes 2. Elsewhere during her interview, Ortega even shed some light on how she feels about joining in as the producer for the show. The actress expressed her gratitude and added that she feels extremely fortunate to be coming on as a producer.

The Scream actress continued how she was a ‘little hesitant’ before stepping in on Wednesday. Owing to her experiences that made her feel her voice was ‘not heard’ Ortega hesitated. However, she even credited Tim Burton and admitted that she was fortunate to work with him. Meanwhile, on the screen too her character Wednesday Adams shares a peculiar similarity with a popular serial killer character.

But the biggest possible run-in between the two stars was a rumor.

The Enola Holmes star took to Instagram with a picture of her on-set as she wrote a peculiar caption, “On Wednesday’s we work.” Shortly after the post, the fans were quick to speculate whether Brown was about to join the popular show. However, since then, there have been no updates, and the crossover is highly unlikely to happen.
