On July 26, 2017, Bateman received the Walk of Fame star in LA. Along with his family, Jennifer Aniston, Will Arnett, and others attended the event and expressed how proud they were of their friend. The Horrible Bosses actress took the stage to give a speech honoring her friend’s achievement. Beginning the speech with Bateman’s pictures from childhood, Aniston praised the actor. Moreover, she was the luckiest as she got to witness was, “Jason Bateman, the husband, the father, the fantastic friend and, as we lovingly call him, the grandpa.”
While praising the Game Night actor, Aniston also revealed how close they both were. From her first impression of Bateman to their friendship over many years, she amusingly teased him. Additionally, she also shared some interesting incidents from the past. Expressing her joy, she added it was surprising for her that Bateman did not receive this honor earlier.
Not only did the Golden Globe Award-winning actress appreciate her friend, but also gave credit to Jason Bateman’s wife, Amanda. She amusingly said Amanda was a big part of The Change-Up actor’s evolution. Concluding her speech with nothing but the utmost love and respect for her friend, Jennifer Aniston overwhelmingly congratulated Bateman. Despite being teased by one of her best friends, The Switch actors still spend a lot of time together as Aniston evidently showed off on her Instagram.
