Ashlee Marie Preston shared a clip from Gomez’s interview where she was giving advice to youth. The 31-year-old artist honestly advised the young generation to get off social media. However, she immediately admitted it would be nearly an impossible thing to say at any age. So, she slipped in another piece of wisdom which the Friends star agreed with.

Gomez said, “Everything you’re looking at is 90% fake.” She added people did not have any idea what was behind a photo or what was actually going on. Therefore, the only one whom you could rely on was you, emphasized the ‘Calm Down’ singer. She said, “Take breaks and enjoy what’s actually around you,” pointing out that everything on that tiny device would not define you. It also would not make you a human.

The 54-year-old actress reposted this short clip of the singer giving out advice on her Instagram story. She expressed her agreement with the caption, “YES” with a red heart emoji, stating she could resonate with whatever Selena Gomez said. Although there is a vast age difference, the thoughts of both Hollywood celebrities match with each other. Well, there is an interesting reason behind that, as they both have a surprising common factor.
