To receive an award from a cute little fella should be one of the most beautiful feelings in the world. Because when Ryan Reynolds expressed that feeling recently, it made people applaud him harder than ever. The Canadian actor once again received a prestigious award for his significant work for noble charity work. 

Frequently, people find the Deadpool actor working behind the screens and contributing to society in any way possible. Because of his public title, the actor has a powerful influence over people. He uses his position to spread love, as we saw in his contribution to the Terry Fox Foundation. Recently, the 46-year-old actor received the Humanitarian Award at the Canadian Academy Awards 2023. One of the kids from the SickKids Foundation, the foundation that Reynolds helped, presented the award.

That little fella expressed his love and gratitude for the People’s icon. As soon as Reynolds went up on the stage, the first thing he did was embrace that little one. After sharing a brief but overwhelming moment with the baby, he spoke about the honor and revealed how he felt.

The honorary award receiver immediately thanked his wife, Blake Lively, for being supportive of him and shared the honor with her. He also added how selfish he had been while revealing what he got from doing this work. Can you imagine what he was talking about? Well, he was talking about all the love that he would get as he engaged himself with this work.

While thanking possibly everyone who helped him with the SickKids Foundation, the Vancouver-born actor also said what he loved the most about this work. He said it was not about the trophies and borrowed tuxedoes that excited him. It was about the connections, the friendships, the love, and pulling as many people as he could into this journey with him; these were the things that excited him the most.

As he made everyone emotional with his speech, Reynolds happily accepted the award while people present at the ceremony applauded him.
