With the level of Millie Bobby Brown’s success from a young age, it is not surprising that the actress has been a victim of cyberbullying and relentless trolling. In a recent interview with The Sunday Times about her upcoming novel, Nineteen Steps, the actress revealed that she does not “have many industry friends at all, just Noah.” which was not much of a surprise to fans who follow Schnapp. She continued to describe how he, her fiance, and her family are always to keep her grounded, who she goes to whenever things are overwhelming for her.

Noah Schnapp also earned his success with Stranger Things, and the two have evidently created a powerful bond. Considering they have spent the four seasons on set growing up together, it would not be a surprise if that bond was unbreakable. The besties are often seen having dinners together. Not only this, but Brown was supportive of her friend when he recently came out and embraced his sexuality. 

In the interview, the actress also opened up about how she had decided to stay off social media as well apart from having a close-knit circle.

While Millie Bobby Brown may have gained global recognition with Stranger Things, the actress has been in the spotlight right since 2010. And with the positives of being an actress, there come the usual negatives like paparazzi following your every move and people throwing their opinions at you, whether you want it or not. So following the massive levels of online hate, the actress decided not to access it until “it becomes a positive environment for young people.”

The actress shared with the interviewer that she posts so that her fans “feel like they have a direct line” to her, but she does not scroll through social media like everyone else does. As much as fans would like to see more of the actress, she is “completely happy in remaining detached from that world.”
