The 25-year-old actress’s latest Barbie-inspired photoshoot for Variety caused a storm in social media. In one of the photos, The White Lotus actress wore a sizzling pink bikini, pairing it with fuchsia high-block heels. But that was not the highlight of the post. What blew away fans’ minds was the fact that she was sitting on a huge block of ice!

As soon as the pictures dropped, fans were quick to take jabs at the Emmy award nominee for her quirky photoshoot. On top of that, her interview with Variety where she said, “I always thought I’d have a kid by now” and expressed her desire to have a family, added fuel to the fire. 

With several trolls and a few praises, fans flooded social media reacting to Sweeney’s photo.

With controversies surrounding her family and her rumored association with her rom-com co-star, trolls are not new to the actress. Fans, as usual, could not hold back from ridiculing the actress yet again. They even questioned the point of doing this photoshoot as sitting on a block of ice seemed very abnormal to them.

As the actress got heavily trolled for desiring a family, some fans took a stand for the actress and tried to question the basis of trolling. They asked the trollers what is so offensive about an actress having expectations and desires of having a family or being a mother.

Among the flood of trolls, some genuine Sydney loyalists sang praises for her photo and her interview. This was a breath of fresh air as the actress is mostly unfairly targeted by the netizens. 

While most netizens called her “boring” and a “pick me,” some pointed out people blowing a simple statement out of proportion and took a stand for the actress.
