Hollywood Insider Just Confirmed the Biggest ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Rumor Involving One of the Avengers
The moment Marvel took over the Deadpool franchise, fans began speculating about potential crossovers in the universe. Considering how MCU superheroes are traditionally known for their moral high ground, just the thought of them colliding with the roguish and somewhat conscienceless Merc with a Mouth screams pure chaos. Just as fans were dissecting the teasers from Deadpool & Wolverine, a Hollywood insider has nudged these thoughts within the fandom with a huge confirmation.
Deadpool & Wolverine, the upcoming MCU release, could make way for integrating Deadpool’s universe with that of The Avengers, or particularly with one popular Avenger!

MyTimeToShineHello, a popular X page, deserves the credit for planting these rumors and confirming them as well. It all began with the release of a new Deadpool & Wolverine teaser that led fans to speculate a potential cameo of Hulk in the 2024 movie. While initially, MyTimeToShineHello denied the speculation with a firm "No," the X page has now given a confirmation with a new tweet saying, “Actually, nevermind on that. Hulk's in it”.
In the teaser, Deadpool was seen saying, “People have waited decades for this fight” to Wolverine as the clawed mutant prepared for a fight with Sabretooth. However, fans noticed that it sounded like an audio from a different scene. Especially given that fans have already seen Wolverine fight Sabretooth in two X-Men movies before, it seemed that the tease was instead of a showdown between Hulk and Wolverine, which is indeed something fans had been waiting for decades. In fact, Hulk could even be a villain in the movie.
A popular YouTuber has hinted that Hulk could be the antagonist of Deadpool & Wolverine with a bunch of theories connecting to a different comic book narrative.

The first trailer of Deadpool & Wolverine was brimming with Easter eggs and MCU references. In one of the scenes from the trailer, Hulk’s bed from Sakaar, as seen in Thor: Ragnarok, was in the background. This led YouTuber Aman Sinha, in one of his episodes of SuperSuper, to note that there is a chance of Hulk being the primary villain of the third Deadpool installment. The reason was Wolverine’s close resemblance to his Earth #807128 version and the possibility of him being from a reality overrun by villains.
In the trailer, the bed looked like it was placed inside the Giant Ant-Man’s skull, which could have also been a nod to the Old Man Logan narrative in the comics. In this narrative, Hulk becomes a tyrant who extorts money and brutally punishes those who fail. This clue, however, is arguably the loosest Easter egg of the bunch that was sprinkled throughout the trailer. But now that MyTimeToShineHello has confirmed Hulk being in the 2024 movie, it is hard to ignore the possibility of this theory.
